We’re a densely populated office of whom 10% are french, 50% are crazily hilarious and 100% worked to the bone.
There are the different departments that each have their quirks and work fiercely in little units – the Strategy, PR, Client Services, Design, IT and Content team (which is my personal favourite with the hippy copywriters). But collectively, we feed off each other’s energy and are like family – most of them average a tenure of 4 years and counting. Personally I’ve chalked in 16 months.
My immediate manager, L, is beautiful, sagely and could turn any hot blooded man wild with her french accent. She came into our firm as an intern and is now moving to the UK to head our London office. Imagine that.
The account management team less our sorely missed J who is back in Arkansas for vacation. Talk about a cultural melting pot - we have Thailand, London, France, Singapore and finally someone from America in this picture!
